Why choose Halos and Heroes?
Halos and Heroes is an imaginative and innovative company that prides itself on hiring the best and offering the best service.  Oh and we like to think we’re friendly and helpful too!

What ages are your children’s parties suitable for?
Any age! But really the best age to have a Halos and Heroes party is anywhere from 3 to 13!

How long do your parties last?
Our Silver and Gold parties run for 2 hours, and our Platinum parties run for 2.5 hours.  Weddings are for 3 hours, and Corporate Events are to whatever you require!

What areas do you cover?
For private parties and Weddings we cover Dorset. We also travel to surrounding counties but unfortunately have to charge travel costs at 40p per mile from the ranch!  Corporate events are nationwide.

Is there a limit to how many children I can invite?
No! As long as we know how many children you are inviting we can bring the staff to cover – we have experience of dealing with hundreds of children at one event (although we have to admit not usually for a birthday party!)

Is there a food break during the party?
Yes.  We work around you and are very flexible to the situation on the day to when we hold each game and activity we respond to the mood of the party, but there is always time for food & cake!!

Do you supply the venue?
No. You would need to book a venue and then we would come to you.  We do have a list of local venues to help make the experience as pleasant as possible.

Can I hold the party at home?
Yes of course! All you need to do is make sure that you’ll feel happy with the number of children you’re inviting – it’s important they have room to jump around!

Do you supply the party food?
No. You will need to make your own party food arrangements, although we can help with the birthday cake – just ask us!

Do you supply the party bags?
As part of the platinum package we include personalised goody bags, but we can also supply them as an additional cost option or if preferred you can supply your own.

Do you supply the party invitations?
As a cost option we can provide everything from invites and thank yous to plates and table cloths – just ask us for themes or colours and we’ll be happy to give you the prices.

So you can offer me a complete party planning service?
Certainly. We can manage all aspects of your event, so all you have to do is enjoy it!

I don't need a full management service - just some entertainment.
We can do that too!  Literally whatever you need Halos and Heroes to help with - we can do it! From face painting to a crèche to activities and crafts - we can help!

Do you perform any magic in your parties?
No. We specialise in children's themed crafts, activities and party games.

What days and hours do you operate?
Our party hosts are available for parties seven days a week (excluding Christmas Day and Boxing Day) at any time during the day or evening.

How many party hosts turn up?
It all depends on how many children are coming! We do suggest that for a private party that you have enough parent helpers for the number of children, as whilst they won’t have to entertain them, in fact they can sit back and have a cuppa, it is still the parents responsibility to account for all the children.

What happens if my party host is ill on the day of my party?
Your party is very important to us, so we will send you a different party host instead – and the party will still be a roaring success (well if it’s a jungle party!!)

How much notice do I need to book a party?
We like to take our time over each and every party, ensuring you are completely happy with all the ideas and details.  But saying that, we have been known to turn an event around in less than a week – its just a bit harder and can cost a bit more – so its always best to book as far in advance as possible.

I have no experience of organising a children's event - what do they like?
At Halos and Heroes we realise that every child is different and cater for that, which is why we offer different games, activities and crafts to ensure every child has a wonderful time.  Our creative minds spend hours researching the current themes and work to come up with fabulous craft and activity ideas.  So you can relax, but at the same time if you have a specific theme or idea in mind then we can work within your boundaries and make your dreams come to life!

Do you have a Crèche facility?
Yes! We can offer our clients safe and secure Crèche facilities and Soft Play, so we can truly cater for all their guests!  Mandy is qualified to NVQ3 in early years and we make sure we follow OFSTED regulations and ratios.  We take caring for all your children very seriously, but when it comes to Crèche facilities we understand that for you to leave your children in our care you have to trust our abilities.  But we don’t want you to just trust us!  It’s best to ask to see our qualifications in black and white, and that way you can see how seriously we take caring for your children.  This allows you to relax knowing your children are in the best hands and your children have a wonderful time in our care.

Are your party hosts Disclosure registered (police checked)?
Absolutely. All new Halos and Heroes party hosts are Enhanced Disclosure checked by the Criminal Records Bureau.  We can arrange copies for you if required.

Are you public liability insured?
Yes up to £5,000,000, and again, we can arrange copies for you if required.

How do I book & pay for a Halos and Heroes party?
Booking your party with Halos and Heroes is easy and hassle-free.  Once you have been given a quote and the availability of your party date has been checked, if you wish to proceed with a booking, then just download the relevant booking form and send it to us with your deposit cheque.  We will then send you written confirmation of your party along with your invoice and the balance is due to your party host on the day.
